Martin graduated with a BA (Hons) Social Science, in 1997; and returned to school for a BSc (Hons) Psychology, in 2005. He received a M.Sc. with Merit, in Forensic Psychology from Coventry University in the UK, in 2009. His thesis topic was typologies of adolescent sexual harmers and implications for treatment.
Martin brings over a decade of experience working in a variety of settings including youth justice, child and family services, and correctional services. His particular skills are Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing. Martin enjoys working with adults and he specializes in therapy for adolescents with problematic sexual behaviours. He uses the Carnes task model for the treatment of sexual compulsivity and online addiction.
